Progress

I have spent most of the day in and out of embassys but have eventually found out that the Russian route seams to be a no-go, it will cost an extortionate amount and will take weeks to sort out. To get around this problem I have to go right around to Azerbaijan via Turkey and then cross the Caspian sea from there. I will see how this goes and give it a try. time to head back down south again.

Update

Well folks I am currently in the Ukraine at the moment. In the main city of Kiev. It has been a very good journey so far and have gone through many beautiful countries, and meeting many very nice people. From England I went across to France and then north into Belgium. From Belgium I went to Luxembourg, Germany, down through Austria into Italy. From Italy I went east to Slovenia, Croatia, Hungary, Romania, and then turned north and travelled to my current position in the Ukraine.

In the Ukraine it feels as if ive either bribed, or been swindled by, half the police force, the army, you name it in uniform. i`ve paid it money.

My next big task is to get visas for Russia, Kazakhstan, Mongolia and maybe China. It is quite triky as they seem numingly unwilling to try to understand what i am getting at.

i will update you with progress as i get or dont get any.

Take Two

The bike is finally fixed and so i am off again. hopefully for a little longer this time. First stop dover and then possibly holland, we'll see what happens.
